Chris Brown promotes the US Census, but as a criminal, the UK won’t even let him into the country
He’s not even allowed to travel internationally, but singer/felon Chris Brown is a proud spokesman for the 2010 Census. Smart huh?

I have heard (read) that many blacks refuse to participate in Census 2010 because the race question includes Negro (in addition to black and African American). According to what I read, many blacks find this language offensive, so offensive, they refuse to participate. Only one black person I contacted mentioned it and then only in passing, saying she had heard the word “negro” was used on the form. She actually laughed about it.
Anyway, to boost participation among the black community, many black spokespersons were recruited. Chris Brown may be a criminal to some, but to others a well known ‘s and influential voice within the community. Besides, in today’s world, committing a crime is barely a barrier to anything!
