Other media outlets report on the Brooklyn scandal…

We are glad to see the New York Times and New York Daily News reporting about the Census Bureau’s latest scandal in Brooklyn. At this point, the big question is whether the individuals involved with this data fabrication effort will be formally charged with crimes. Hopefully by Monday we will know the answer…

Saw and read the coverage yesterday. Stephen and MyTwoCensus, thanks for reporting it first.

Something similar happened in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin LCO. My FOS reported that 10 people were led away in handcuffs and a Homeland Security officer is now on duty. My LCO Supervisor (2549 West Allis) was transferred there and a new LCO was brought in to us from Chicago. Most of the enumerators from my CLD district, who were scheduled to be released for Lack of Work, were transferred to that LCO as well. Nothing in the papers or on-line about it, but the Milwaukee LCO is average only 80% instead of the 95% expected.
