Rumor: Film crews in Brooklyn preparing for the 2020 Census

Warning: This is not science fiction.

Despite the multitude of scandals and troubles in Brooklyn, MyTwoCensus has learned that a camera crew (presumably a PR team) was sent from the Census Bureau to Brooklyn to prepare for the 2020 Census. Jeez. Anyone have more info on who these folks are and what they are up to? Thanks!

    My Crew Leader for NRFU VCD had a leading role in them> She told us that they were taping for training videos for the 2020 Census. Dealing with the problems that arise from visiting the same house several times such as agitated people or refusals.

    This has to be a hoax. I don’t believe that the 2020 census is budgeted yet and there are so many other issues from 2010 that need to be addressed (mismanagement, waste, inadequate map-spotting, and PBOCS snafus, to name only a few) that I cannot imagine starting with anything so frivolous. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised.

    It happen in Bay Ridge/ Ft. Hamilton Over the weekend. They were paid the same amount as if they were working in the field. There was my Crew Leader and one CLA.
