Immigration Debate Continues…
Thursday, April 16th, 2009Following the Pew Hispanic Center’s recent report on illegal immigration, there has been great speculation as to the number of illegal immigrants living in each state. For instance, it appears that Alabama’s undocumented immigrant population has more than doubled since 2005. According to Pew, in the past three years, the number of illegal immigrants in the Yellowhammer State has swelled from 40,000 to between 85,000 and 120,000.
